40 days of prayer for Tibet

Dismayed at the situation in Tibet, we invoke the forces of goodness that live within, hidden behind the veils of the modern shallowness, in each and every one of our human hearts.

Exhausted by the injustice and the international disdain of the powerful countries with regard to Tibet for not being yet another prospectus to contribute their love for wealth, we call with all our forces

the international community, the citizen more than the institutions, so they become aware of this violation against the life and culture of the Tibetan citizens. We can, through the forces of faith and prayer, put an end to this brutal situation!

Prayer is an effective force capable of truly changing life. Thousands of persons and thousands of testimonies demonstrate it with absolute firmness. Prayers done with faith are therefore an objective way to help our fellow men and women!

This message is aimed at every person who believes in the forces of the divine, in the forces of God. This message doesn’t make any distinction between religions or trends of any nature. God is God, and He is beyond all our small human divisions, whatever they may be.

Please, we beg you for what you most love in this life; that you make the effort to join our prayers and that you spread these ideas everywhere, so that the greatest possible number of people may join these 40 days of prayer, from January 20 to February 28, 2012. Let’s pray for the right reason for an infinitely right cause!

WELCOME

DRAMA IN TIBET:

Buddhist Teachings appropriatefor the oppressors:

“A dog is not considered a good dog because he is a good barker. A man is not considered a good man because he is a good talker”.

“All that we are is the result of what we have thought. If a man speaks or acts with an evil thought, pain follows him. If a man speaks or acts with a pure thought, happiness follows him, like a shadow that never leaves him”.

“All that we are is the result of what we have thought. The mind is everything. What we think we become”.

“All things appear and disappear because of the concurrence of causes and conditions. Nothing ever exists entirely alone; everything is in relation to everything else”.

“An insincere and evil friend is more to be feared than a wild beast; a wild beast may wound your body, but an evil friend will wound your mind”.
The Buddha

Tibetans slaughtered during Uprising

By the late 1950s it was clear to Tibetans that China had no intention of honouring a pledge made in 1951 to respect Tibetan autonomy. Tibetan resentment of China’s occupation simmered and it was clear that a revolt against Chinese rule was brewing.

Jonathan Green - Murder in the Himalayas: A Story that Had to be Told

"There will always be people willing to risk everything for freedom."

It's been four years since video footage of the fatal shooting of a teenage Tibetan girl by a Chinese border patrol made international news, before slipping into its final resting place on YouTube.
